This project was created in my Ancestral home in Lingayen, Philippines. This was a very special project, created during a two month stay exploring and reconnecting with my roots in my mother country. Here, my family raises roosters which are often used in the culturally popular Sabongs. This image depicts a rooster fleeing, breaking free from its once bound fate and symbolically representing my family's personal journey of immigration to the United States.
